NSID Verification

Parents/Guardians,

In order for the athletes to be eligible to play this upcoming season they will need to be verified at www.nationalsportsid.com.
This site is used by the Taconic league to make sure every athlete is the appropriate age to play
in that age group.
Each player will need to upload a current headshot, birth certificate, medical
clearance form, and most recent report card (you do not have to use the final report card).
Once this is complete the AYF (American Youth Football) player packet will appear, which also must be
filled out.
Returning players may not need to upload their birth certificate and headshot. Some
returning players might already be affiliated with their current team

Once the player is verified a green check mark will appear next to their picture. The green check
mark will appear even if you did not complete the player packet, so be sure to complete that as
well.

Here are the steps to get your child verified:
1. Sign in or Sign up for an account: www.nationalsportsid.com
2. Click Join League button “Join tourney/league”
3. Search “Taconic Youth Football”
4. Select Join League under Taconic Carmel 2025- Player Verification
5. Choose Your Child's Age Group.
6. Complete the 3-Step Process. (Watch Video)
7. Fill Out Roster Data Form. (Upload Medical Clearance Form)
8. Fill out AYF Player Packet (will pop up on screen after child is verified)

The website does tend to have glitches and you may complete all the steps and still not be
verified. If this happens please use the help chat feature on the website. They are very helpful in
resolving any issues. There should be no fee associated with the verification process. If you are
being asked to pay make sure you are affiliated with the Taconic Youth Football League.

In order for the team to be eligible to play this season all players must be verified by July 1st. If all players are not verified the whole team will not be able to play.
